Mind blowing landscapes. Heart in your mouth roads. Open minds and music in your heart. Aren’t these the making of a perfect road trip?
The Leh Manali road trip was the highlight of our 3-month journey into the Himalayas. In the 5 months that we spent in South America (over 20k km of overland travel), the 4-day tour of the Salar de Uyuni were the best 4 days!
When we had asked our driver Filipe what was his favourite part of this tour, without hesitation, he had replied, “The Drive!”.
We then had a chance to handle a 4WD driving through one of the top 10 coastal drives in the world, cruising the smooth highways of New Zealand.
That is when we realised, that a lust had developed along with our love for the road. The lust of the big bad beast. The lust for supreme control. The lust for the adrenaline pumping, when you are behind the wheels.
Along with 59 other bloggers, the action-packed 2-day event gave us a chance to get up-close and personal with the Tata Hexa. Manual mode, auto mode, off-roading – we got to do it all.
Our verdict? Well, we now know what the missing chunk of our road trip armour was. The #HexaExperience is what will make it complete.
Why? Just have a look at this video. (Warning: Desire to pack up the Tata Hexa with favourite friends, favourite travel gear, and favourite travel music and head straight to Ladakh will crop up!)
